The Suicide Prevention Research Fund was established by the Federal Government to support research into suicide prevention. Suicide Prevention Australia manages the fund on behalf of the Federal Government with the support of the Research Advisory Committee.
Suicide Prevention Australia is pleased to announce three Grant Programs for 2019:
Innovation Grants
Open 15 May and close 15 June 2019
This is an exciting opportunity for researchers to explore innovative ideas that can contribute to suicide prevention in Australia.
Innovation research grants are intended to enable research studies to be conducted that will:
- generate new knowledge about suicidal behaviour
- provide greater insights on the interruption or prevention of suicidal behaviour; or
- undertake the testing and trial of new service and programs for suicide prevention
PhD Scholarships
Open 1 July and close 15 August 2019
Post-Doctoral Fellowships
Open 1 July and close 30 August 2019 Now opening in third quarter of 2019.
