The conference will take place 21-23 July 2020 at the National Convention Centre Canberra. Pre-conference workshops will be held on 20 July 2020 and will be announced shortly.
The 2020 conference theme is One Voice – One Vision.
With a confirmed line-up of international suicide prevention experts from Japan, England and the USA, several esteemed national speakers and a variety of service providers and delegates, the conference is your opportunity to hear what is happening both in Australia and around the world in suicide prevention.
Last year more than 650 delegates attended from all over Australia and overseas. Delegates included academics, service providers, educators, private sector, government, mental health advocates, social welfare leaders and people with lived experience.
Never before in Australia have we seen so much momentum driving suicide prevention to the fore, making it a priority both for government and the community. The 2020 conference is an important opportunity to harness this momentum, facilitate productive and sustainable discussions, whilst working towards one mission: a world without suicide.
