Angela Emslie joined the Board of Suicide Prevention Australia as an Independent Director in 2013 and is a member of the Governance Committee and the Audit and Risk Committee.
Angela is an experienced company director and advisor to the health and community services sector and brings a range of skills and experience to the board. She has extensive governance expertise having served on numerous boards for over 22 years. She is Independent Chair of HESTA Super Fund which invests in more than $40b on behalf of over 800,000 members working in the Australian health and community services sector. Angela also sits on the boards of Frontier Advisors and the UN Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) and is a past President of the Australian Institute of Superannuation Trustees (AIST). She also has a background in membership organisations and workplace health and safety.
She brings a range of expertise to her roles including stakeholder management, strategic, governance and investment related skills and holds a Bachelor of Economics and a Master of Business.
