2025 National LiFE Awards
For 22 years, we have been recognising excellence in suicide prevention with the Suicide Prevention Australia LiFE Awards – Living is For Everyone.
The LiFE Awards aim to showcase the important work being done in states and territories across Australia by individuals and organisations to prevent suicide and support those in need.
The State LiFE Awards are held in March. There are five categories that recognise the diverse and innovative efforts being undertaken to save lives and reduce suicide. These categories acknowledge individuals and organisations at a state and territory level, with all award recipients automatically proceeding to the National LiFE Awards here in Perth.

- Innovative Practice and Research
- Best Practice in Workplace
Nominations are received from across Australia and, every year, we are deeply moved by the high quality of submissions. Suicide Prevention Australia is committed to shining a light on the dedication and passion exhibited by so many who work tirelessly towards our shared vision of a world without suicide.

Back to the Future has finally arrived! Join us for a timeless evening at the NSPC25 LiFE Awards Gala Dinner, where we’re celebrating in full Back to the Future style.
Will you channel Marty McFly’s futuristic fashion? Step out as a time-traveling scientist like Doc Brown? Or perhaps you’ll arrive straight from 1885, 1955, or even 2015—hoverboard in hand? Whether you go all out or just add a touch of time-travel magic, we want to see your best Back to the Future looks!
So, grab your sports almanac, power up your flux capacitor, and get ready for a night of nostalgia, neon, and next-level fun.
Because where we’re going… we don’t need roads!
Tickets are:
$100 for all Fully Registered Delegates (Member or Non-Member)
$199 for all Workshop, One or Two Day delegates
$199 for any Additional Attendees or General Public
$1790 for Tables of 10 (General Public)*

Whether you’re going all out or adding just a touch of time-travel flair, here are some style tips to match the Back to the Future theme:
Go All Out:
- Futuristic Marty – Silver puffer vest, holographic sneakers, hoverboard prop.
- Steampunk Doc – Victorian coat, brass goggles, time-travel gadget.
- Cyberpunk Biff – Neon-lit accessories, sleek gangster look, sports almanac.
- Alt-1985 Lorraine & George – 80s power suits, big hair, bold prints, dystopian edge.
Just a Touch:
- Metallic or holographic accessories.
- Neon or LED-lit tie, bowtie, or hairpiece.
- 80s power dressing – shoulder pads, bold colours, denim.
- Silver or neon-trimmed jacket.
