The 27th National Suicide Prevention Conference – April 28–30, 2026, in Sydney, NSW, aims to build upon the record-breaking success of the 2025 conference in Perth, which welcomed over 900 delegates, the highest attendance in our history .
To ensure diverse participation, we invite government agencies to fund bursaries that enable individuals with lived or living experience of suicide to attend. These bursaries help overcome financial barriers, allowing attendees to contribute their invaluable perspectives to the national dialogue on suicide prevention.
Why Fund Bursaries?
-
Promote Equity: Facilitate access for individuals who might otherwise be unable to attend due to financial constraints.
-
Enhance Representation: Ensure that voices of those with lived experience are central to discussions, enriching the conference’s impact.
-
Demonstrate Commitment: Showcase your agency’s dedication to inclusive and comprehensive suicide prevention strategies.
Your support is crucial in advancing our shared mission to prevent suicide and promote mental well-being across Australia.
