If you have accommodation booked through the conference please refer to the attached registration summary for your hotel details. Your booking will be under your first and last name.

Each hotel has different check in and check out times so please refer to the hotels direct website for these details.

All catering will be located in the Exhibition Hall on main conference days.

If you have outlined any specific dietary requirements, there will be a dietary table set up in the Exhibition Hall.

If you’re driving, the most convenient option is the City of Perth Convention Centre Car Park, situated directly beneath the venue. It offers 1,462 parking bays, including 23 accessible bays and 84 motorcycle bays – City of Perth

All delegates are expected to adhere to Suicide Prevention Australia’s Code of Conduct for Engagements in Suicide Prevention. Please refer to the Code of Conduct document HERE

Please check your registration.  You can also view your registration online; simply log in as a returning delegate HERE

Please check all of your details including registration, tickets to social functions, as well as accommodation (if applicable), payment status and your presentation (if applicable). 

Any outstanding payments can be processed directly online or onsite. Please disregard if you’ve recently spoken with ASN Events regarding payment already, no need to re-contact.

If you are part of a group and there is an outstanding amount owed, please contact your group manager.

This year we will be registering delegate attendances in all break out sessions. This is to better our program for future conferences. 

There will be volunteers stationed at each door scanning the QR code on the front of your name badge.

The National Suicide Prevention Conference will have gender neutral bathrooms located on the southern side of the exhibition floor. There will be a sign indicating what bathroom this is.

You can collect your name badge from Monday 19 May at the conference registration desk located on level 2, Central Foyer.  Your name badge must be worn at all times.

Save the Queues: If you are around come and collect your name badge on Monday 19 May. We have record numbers this year, so ensure you’re not arriving right before the Opening Session, as queues are expected.

Note: Pre-conference workshops are an additional charge to attend and can be added to your registration through the registration link above.

There will be limited printed programs available onsite at registration.

To cast your people’s choice for the best poster please open the “Poster Voting” option on your app. Select the poster number you would like to vote for and submit your vote. All posters will have a poster number displayed next to it. 

If you cannot vote through the app, visit the Suicide Prevention Australia booth to vote there. Poster judging will conclude after lunch on Wednesday 21 May and poster prizes will be awarded at the closing ceremony. 

What is a poster session? A poster session is where presenters display their research on posters and discuss it informally with attendees as they walk around. There will be two dedicated poster sessions on Tuesday the 22nd during lunch and at the Welcome Drinks, with the posters remaining available to view throughout the conference.

The poster boards will be located on the southern foyer near the Wellbeing Zone.

Filming and photography will be taking place throughout the Conference. If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please present to the registration desk upon arrival and seek advice from event staff.

Session filming: Select sessions are being filmed in the main plenary room during the conference. The recordings will be available for Suicide Prevention Australia members and subscribers post-conference via Learnlinc.

General filming and photography: This will be occurring throughout the event venue and in sessions. The event host (Suicide Prevention Australia) may use, reproduce, publish, or broadcast this content for promotional purposes, across websites, social media, and email. By entering this event site, you consent to our use of the content in this way.

We welcome you to take your own photos or videos, as you wish.

Presentations will need to be pre-loaded and tested with the technicians in the Speaker Preparation Room M9, at least one hour before your session begins. If you are presenting on Wednesday or Thursday, you have the opportunity to load your presentations the day before.

The speaker preparation room will open on Tuesday morning.

To access the free Wi-Fi, simply connect to ‘PCEC_Wireless’ and select the complimentary Wi-Fi option. Please note, sessions are limited to one hour, after which time the user will need to reconnect to begin another session. Speeds are limited and suitable for basic web browsing only.
